Shane Johnson was absolute amazing for our special day! The communication between us and Shane was perfect! Shane would check in with us often to make sure everything is going great. He could read the crowd really well and everyone was vibing with his transitions and impromptu song choices. Even when the dance crowd began to thin out, he knew the perfect songs to bring more people to the dance floor!

Shane J was an absolute rockstar of a DJ for our wedding day. One of our primary goals for the wedding was a fun dance floor, and Shane took many steps throughout the process to ensure we met that goal. He had several calls with us throughout, and clearly prepared before each one, offering notes, providing suggestions to build on our playlists, and asking questions to help clarify our vision. On the day of the wedding, he ensured the ceremony music went off without a hitch and took all the right steps during the reception to read the crowd and ensure we were keeping everyone happy and dancing. We could not recommend Shane enough as a DJ and part of your wedding day!

We hired Bellagala for our DJ services for our wedding in April. Our DJ, Shane J. was amazing to work with! He communicated with us throughout the whole process, offering suggestions and themes that he’s seen from previous weddings as we were planning. We also had a meeting with Shane a couple weeks before the wedding to finalize our schedule and note any special requests that we had for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, he showed up early and helped us coordinate a dry run with our music for the ceremony and got the officiant mic’d up and tested the microphone with him. Shane also did an amazing job at reception of checking in with us and keeping us on schedule. He fit very nicely with our personality/style for our wedding. We didn’t have a ton of music requests on our playlist, so he did an excellent job of filling the gaps and adapting to the music genre to keep people out on the dance floor. I would highly recommend Shane as your DJ for your wedding!!

We loved working with our DJ, Shane J., and highly recommend him for creating a fun, welcoming and smooth wedding music experience. Shane was professional and responsive in all communications and collaborated with us to ensure the sound quality and music for both our ceremony and reception were perfect. We had a live singer/guitarist perform during the ceremony and she sounded amazing hooked up to Shane's sound system. We gave Shane a general idea of preferred music styles for the social hour and dinner, and he created fantastic playlists to match. We were pretty specific about the music we wanted played during the dancing portion of the ceremony and he made sure all the songs flowed well based on different beats, genres, etc. Everyone had a fantastic night. If you're looking for someone friendly, professional and thoughtful in their approach, Shane's your guy!

Shane was the best!! He called us before our vow renewal to introduce himself and make sure we were on the same page and he communicated throughout the entire night. He played good music that our guests seemed to enjoy and we had an absolute blast. I would absolutely recommend Bellagalla to everyone. We gave him a very rough idea of music styles and he absolutely nailed the rest - pulling together a perfect playlist from social hour, to dinner, to dance. Shane Johnson was an AMAZING DJ. I can't recommend him enough. We booked him through Bellagala for our NYE wedding at A'bulae in Saint Paul, MN. Not only was he receptive to our song requests and the requests of our guest, he played the music at the right time. He made sure all were dancing and having fun. He made it a priority to meet with us in advance and ensure the ceremony music was set and the officiant had all the technology he needed. I had several guests ask for his name at the end of the night to use for their future events. Many of the guests even started a "DJ" chant at the end of the night to celebrate how awesome he was. We were thrilled with our choice to book Shane!

Emmerlee was our wedding photographer and our entire experience working with her was great from start to finish! She is professional, fun, easy going, and amazing at what she does! She had another photographer, Tom, with her the day of our wedding, who was just as kind, fun and professional and the two worked really well together and with us!Jacob was our videographer and he did a fantastic job from start to finish as well! We were looking for areas to save money in our wedding budget, but wanted a really goood DJ since we love to dance. We got their “beginner” level DJ, which means they have less experience but Shane did an awesome job! He did what I told him to do, which was to have a packed dance floor all night long!

We were assigned Chris with Bellagala and he did a great job! He helped dismiss tables, worked with all the vendors great, and all the wedding songs went without any issues. I also used them for our ceremony music and I would absolutely recommend. It was so nice not having to worry about that and the additional cost was very reasonable. He also was great at reading the room and playing music that our guests really enjoyed. I had no issues at all and I know that Chris was a huge help in making everything go smoothly.

I do wish the ceremony music was a bit louder - the ceremony was outside so I'm not sure if that made a difference and I was probably too busy crying walking down the aisle :) The reception was great and even though we didn't have many people dancing due to COVID, Shane still kept the dance floor moving! There were a few hiccups with the mother-son dance (long screeching sound and he played one of the songs way too long) - it definitely made for an awkward, funny moment but one my husband would never forget haha :)
Overall, Bellagala was a great company to work with. Shane was fun and easy to work with but giving 4 stars due to a few hiccups throughout the day.

We had Shane Johnson as our DJ at the very last minute and when I mean last minute I mean the week of our wedding due to our previous booked DJ not being able to work out. Within that one week before our wedding day, Shane was exceptional at communicating with my husband and I to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that he was going to take care of everything related to music and equipment for sound. We could not have asked for a better DJ! I would highly recommend him for your wedding. He was not only great at communicating with us but he is also great at handling adversity on the day of our wedding. We had a lot going on through out our wedding day, some planned and some not planned. He accommodated and worked well with everyone!

We had Shane J as our DJ and he fit in great with our group! Before the wedding, he followed up to make sure we had all of our songs in order, and get a feel for what all are guests liked. When the day of the wedding came, he was nothing short of awesome. He would periodically check in with me throughout the night to make sure I was enjoying everything, and I was! He was so great to work with and definitely captured all the songs that all of my guest loved - there was never a time that people weren't dancing! I 100% would recommend Shane to anyone who is looking for a personable and accommodating DJ!
