Let me start by saying how amazing Jessica and her husband were. Incredibly professional and both went above and beyond than just being photographers. They did both our engagement and wedding photos. My husband and I wanted our photos to be in the moment. We wanted to look at our photos and have a good laugh with scattered moments that made us want to cry. We clicked with her instantly and felt very comfortable at the engagement shoot (even though my husband and I are not natural in front of the camera at all). After searching through different photographers' portfolios, we specifically chose Jessica Ramaker as our photographer. We first met her for our engagement pictures. Neither of us had taken much in the way of professional pictures before, and Jess did a great job of guiding us through poses and ways to make the pictures feel more natural. We loved how they turned out and got a ton of compliments on them. When it came to the wedding day, it was even better. Jess arrived early to get some getting ready shots as well as various detail shots. We opted for a second shooter as well, which was a great choice. She was so attentive to the pictures we requested, it was great, and planned through every part of the day with us. At the venue she almost felt like our personal guide she was so knowledgeable about how everything worked and what would happen. I absolutely loved working with Jess and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer. It was a bit more to hire her than some of the other Bellagala photographers, but 100% worth it.

If you want a top-notch photographer who goes above and beyond and has an eye for capturing the perfect moments, Jessica Ramaker is your woman! We hired Jessica for our engagement photos and wedding day photos. For both occasions, Jessica did a phenomenal job keeping us organized, recommending poses, and making us feel comfortable and relaxed. On our wedding day, Jessica did an excellent job organizing our large bridal party and both of our families to get the right shots, in a timely manner. She also has a knack for making those around her feel comfortable. She was great with our 4.5 year old nephews by making them feel comfortable, which wasn't always easy given all the things going on for the little guys that day. My wife and I were also very comfortable around her and that translated into comfortable pictures, especially when we aren't used to being photographed being all snuggly and cozy. I also appreciated her calm demeanor. When my wife and I were getting a little worried about running behind our wedding day timeline at certain points of the day, Jessica kept her calm and always got us back on track. Her job is photographer but she also doubles as a hype woman, shoe lace tyer, people organizer, and train conductor (because she knows how to work a wedding dress train like a boss). You won't regret hiring Jessica!

We hired Jessica Ramaker for our photographer through Bellagala Photography. We had to upgrade our package in order to get her, but it was worth every dime!! Jessica's husband came as her second shooter, and they were so fantastic (and an adorable couple)! What drew us to Jessica is that in her portfolio she had previously shot not just a wedding at the Van Dusen, but a queer wedding at the Van Dusen. This made us feel comfortable choosing her because we knew that she would be able to shoot two brides. During the day she made us feel comfortable, as well as everyone else in our families and bridal parties. She had a way of making everything fun, so we laughed the whole time. She was also so detail-oriented and was great about alternating positions so both of our tattoo sleeves could get a moment. We felt that a benefit of using a Bellagala photographer while also having our wedding at a Bellagala venue was that she knew exactly where to take pictures because she knew the venue so well. She already had ideas of where to take certain pictures at what times of day, which made everything move so smoothly and our pictures turned out incredible!

She was a rockstar capturing beautiful outdoor pictures this winter on one of the coldest days in January, putting in 110% despite the weather. She also went above and beyond on wedding day! Incredible service at a reasonable price! Yes, wedding photography is always going to be a bit pricey, but Bellagala was still very reasonable, and all the employees I spoke to/worked with for my wedding really made it feel like our wedding was the most important thing.
